We can confidently say that Uniac is unlike the majority of organisations involved in the provision of internal audit. Yes, we are internal auditors, but our audit process is crafted and specifically designed to be thorough, creative and enjoyable. We are small, informal and definitely not bureaucratic. Where else can you bid at a quarterly bazaar for work you have a particular interest in?
We organise work so that you will have your own assignments to lead but will still be part of the wider team: you will be encouraged to invite colleagues’ contributions to your work and to offer your input to other audits across Uniac. Collaboration is the name of the game!
We rely on the drive, enthusiasm and initiative of our staff, so if you want to join us you’ll have to be prepared to put yourself forward and get involved. We want everyone to have good ideas ……quite often that means being prepared to implement them too. Coming up with an idea and then sitting back and waiting for it to happen simply isn’t part of the ethos here.
