Successful candidate
We need staff that are willing to work to a consistently high standard across our member universities and that will strive to ensure our members needs and expectations are met or surpassed, whilst also contributing to the future direction and strength of Uniac.
We need people who like change, who would love the opportunity to influence the direction of their organisation and who are ready to contribute with new ideas. You’ll notice that we use words like contribute, influence, and collaborate quite a lot; but it’s essential to us that you recognise that we are looking for people who have pride in both their organisation and their work; and who also value and respect the people that they work with.
We need people who are creative and have a fresh approach, but that are also pragmatic and recognise that our members expect value for money and for high quality work to be delivered by when we agreed we would deliver it.
We truly believe that our talented staff are at the heart of our success in the Higher Education sector. Our members know that we employ people who care passionately about what they do and above all who want to make a real difference.
So what qualities do our team possess that sets them apart from the rest; and that enable us to remain at the forefront of internal audit. Not surprisingly we have spent quite a lot of time thinking about this. After much debate we have decided that for starters we need you to be skilled in:
- problem solving
- synthesising information
- planning
- research
- influencing
- analysing information and processes
- advising
- writing
- communicating
You will also have a thirst for knowledge and new experiences; you will embrace change and will want to actively contribute to our future strategy and direction as an organisation.
So we don’t want much then? But you see, that, in a nutshell is what makes our staff different and why our members know that they can rely on us to deliver thoughtful, timely work; to an exceptionally high standard, as the norm.
