Become a Member of Uniac
Higher Education Institutions can apply to become one of our Members. Members benefit from our highly cost effective internal audit and related services. Furthermore each Member can nominate a representative to sit on Uniac’s Board and through this can shape our strategy and ensure our service continues to meet the Sector’s needs successfully. Membership is regulated through a Members Agreement. Member institutions, through their involvement in our Board:
- Approve Uniac’s strategy
- Set our annual budget and daily fee rate
- Ensure the service provided meets Member needs and provide advice on potential enhancements
- Commission an independent external five-yearly review of quality
- Act as joint employers of Uniac’s staff, with consequent VAT and Corporation Tax advantages
- Participate in an annual Forum with eminent external speakers and valuable networking opportunities
