FAQs
What is a Consortium Approach?
Our founding members recognised that in-house internal audit teams had a good understanding of their individual institution but lacked sector wide exposure and experience.
On the other hand the bigger audit and accountancy firms were perceived to lack to specialist sector knowledge and so Uniac consortium formed to bridge the gap.
Uniac were the first Higher Education audit consortium to be established in the UK, the key to our success is flexibility. We listen to each member and tailor our style and delivery to meet their exact expectations.
Please do get in touch if you'd like to find out more about becoming a member.
