Occasionally, in every walk of life, something goes wrong.
If you suspect fraud or wrong-doing (or you’re looking for reassurance that these haven’t taken place) we can help by:
- Investigating promptly, thoroughly and sensitively to determine the facts. This is necessary to assist in recovering any losses. Our team is trained in the Police and Criminal Evidence Act (PACE) and the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA)
- Working closely with the HR teams to ensure our approach complements and supports the appropriate internal procedures
- Providing advice as to how controls should be tightened to prevent further losses
Uniac forms an integral part of the fraud response plan and public interest disclosure procedure at each of our member universities. We respond promptly to any request for an investigation.
